Black Bean Dip

Prep Notes

1 garlic clove, minced

2T. Fresh lemon juice

1T. tahini

1 tsp. cumin

¼ tsp salt

1 can black beans, rinse and drain

Dash crushed red pepper

½ -1 small jalapeño, seeded and minced (to your heatpreference)

1-2T. Extra virgin olive oil (evoo)

1 T.  Water

2-3T. Cilantro


Put all of the ingredients into a blender or Cuisinart and blend until smooth and creamy.  Correct for salt.  Enjoy with crudités or whole grain tortilla chips.
