Matcha Green Tea Smoothie

I like to pre-measure the frozen ingredients in this smoothie and put them into a Ziploc bag so when I go to make it, I just add the almond milk, matcha tea, hemp hearts and vanilla.  Your smoothie will be ready in a snap.

Ingredients

1-cup plain unsweetened almond milk

1 banana, sliced and frozen

½ cup frozen pineapple chunks

1 cup lightly packed baby spinach (or 1/2 cup frozen)

1T. hemp hearts

1 tsp. match tea powder

½ tsp pure vanilla extract

Directions

Put ingredients in the blender or Vitamix in order given.  Blend until smooth and creamy!

Notes

I like to have a small glass of this in the morning, before I exercise and save the rest for an afternoon snack.  I think of it as my morning vitamins, although it way better than any synthetic vitamins could ever be!
