Using prepared hummus will save you time. You can layer a couple different flavors of hummus to make this dessert more interesting.
8 oz-16 oz of hummus(store-bought or homemade), any flavor, can use 2 different flavors
1 English cucumber, peeled(optional), and diced
½ cup kalamata olives,chopped
½ cup feta cheese crumbles
½ cup grape tomatoes quartered
Extra Virgin olive oil to drizzle
Dried or fresh oregano to garnish
Spread hummus on a nice serving plate (use more or less as you like). You can mix flavors like roasted red pepper with original. Sprinkle with cucumbers, olives, tomatoes and feta (use more or less as you like). Drizzle with a small amount of olive oil and sprinkle with oregano.
Serve with cut-up veggies,or whole-wheat pita crackers. it looks pretty and is super healthy!
This is appealing and healthy appetizer! If there are leftovers, they are great smeared on a pita for a sandwich or wrap the next day.
